Includes a timeline and biographies of many explorers. Produced by the Mariners' Museum in Virginia.

Conquistadors
The website for the PBS series Conquistadors, which includes information about Hernando Cortes.

European Voyages of Exploration
This site by the University of Calgary is a "tutorial" on European exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries. Use the sitemap for a list of pages within the tutorial - this is the best way to see if your explorer is covered, since there is no search function.
