Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the 2007 NEAISL Conference web page! We are excited to invite you to attend this year’s conference, which in addition to a number of interesting speakers - innovators in the field, your imaginative colleagues, and students - features art, music, and the opportunity to rethink your library as a zone for creative expression and interactivity. If, in the words of Gail Sheehy, “creativity can be described as letting go of certainties,” then perhaps it is time for us to think outside the box of the library as we have known it. Come share in a communal conversation about some new ways of envisioning independent school libraries.
The conference is structured a little differently than in past years in that there are no concurrent sessions and therefore no choices to make. Click on the program link for descriptions of the individual sessions and for a list of the vendors who will be offering us an opportunity to examine print materials and electronic products.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible, and we look forward to seeing you on April 11 at Middlesex School on what we hope will be a beautiful spring day.
Sincerely,
Jeff Smith and Dee Clarke, Middlesex School
Gayle Pershouse, Cambridge School of Weston
Liz Gray, Dana Hall School
Missy Manzer, Milton Academy
Jane Carver, Walnut Hill School
