Each May, Tabor Academy welcomed Dana students for an afternoon of sailing aboard the Tabor Boy and a dinner and dance afterwards.

On May 2, 1958, Fathers’ Day at Dana, fathers and other guests were greeted at Dana Hall Night at the Pops by flower girls Carol Gebelein, Beatriz von Wald, Peggy Mahaney, Judith Ripley and (seated) Dana Little, all from the class of 1958.

Following the 1958 commencement dinner, students, parents and guests attended an outstanding performance of the operetta Plain & Fancy held in Bardwell Auditorium. The all-school cast was directed by Miss Victoria Glaser and Miss Jeanne Nelson, members of the Music and Speech Departments.

Grease, the 2008 spring musical, was performed with the Belmont Hill School, directed by Kevin Groppe, choreographed by Devon Fitchett, and with musical direction by David Coleman.

The 1958 May Day Tradition was held on the lawn outside Bardwell Auditorium. Cynthia Okie was the May Queen and Penelope Williams, Ann Tarlov, Peggy Mahaney, Polly Rice, Katherine Houser, Cecily Rutledge, Dana Little, Marcia Fee, Betsy Mattas, Keren Guss, Andrea Schulman, Marilyn Carey, Ty Watt, and Suzanne Boling were members of the court.

The Blue and White Competition is an all-school, year long competition that culminated in games played at the 2008 Jenkins Jamboree, celebrating Blair and Steve Jenkins' retirement. The Blue and White Spirit Trophy was won this year by the White Team!

The Seventy-seventh Commencement was held on June 1 at the Wellesley Congregational Church. The Reverend Edward W. Meury, pastor of the church, delivered the commencement address.
